MTM- Street Signs

These two street signs are at the same intersection. There are several other roads in My Town that are sometimes called "Streets" and sometime called "Avenues". I've always wondered why this is.

How silly! But I believe it. I'm putting your link up now.

Hmmm! I always wondered what the difference was between a "street" and an "avenue". I get the "circle" and "loop" thing...because "cul-de-sac" is too long for an address!
We drove to KS for thanksgiving, and in the middle of nowhere on the state line betweek OK and KS is a sign that says, "Hough" with an arrow to the right, and "Hooker" with an arrow to the left. I so have to get a picture of that.

If I can't find a difference between ST and AVE, I might not have better luck with HO and Hooker!

Don't you find that confusing? I would.

Now that I am back in Hong Kong with a better screen, I can see the difference between the two signs. In cambodia, I could not make out that the green sign and black signs were for a street and an avenue.

Good eye Constable Chuck!
